Safe
Glass is a safe material and much sturdier than you might think. It's an ideal material for nightlights because, unlike porcelain, glass doesn't get hot for little ones to touch. Furthermore, glass won't melt, unlike plastic nightlights. Finally, glass is an eco-friendly and durable material. The nightlight will still be beautiful and retain its colors and details even 50 years from now!
Practical
Nightlights are very practical for reassuring a child afraid of the dark, or for providing light for parents who have to get up in the night to feed, change a diaper, or administer medication. They can be placed in the hallway, the bathroom, and even the kitchen!
Bulb and mechanism:
- The night light's glow is strong enough to gently illuminate the entire room. As a guide, you could read a small book if you were sitting next to it.
- The included bulb is a 5-watt bulb; be careful not to use a bulb larger than 7 watts.
- We now offer our customers the option of purchasing an LED bulb specially designed for our night lights. They are soft, warm (non-bluish), environmentally friendly, and economical. Plus, they last longer! LED bulbs are available online or at our store in Laval.
- A mechanism for European electrical outlets (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, etc.) is also available online. A bulb suitable for 220-volt outlets will be included with your European mechanism. Please note that American bulbs are not compatible with European mechanisms because the voltage is different.
